Apollo Healthy Citizen Club

 

 

Growing old is a natural process that we are all approaching on a daily basis. Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore has seemingly explored every aspect of the healthcare sector but the ageing senior citizens we felt was uncatered, hence this became the cause for the inception of ‘Apollo Healthy Citizens Club’. The Apollo Healthy Citizen Club is a forum for all age group of people. The membership to this club entitles them to a bouquet of privileges that drive a healthy ageing. All that one needs to do to become a member of this club is to choose your age group card and register.

 

Apollo Healthy Citizens Club was derived keeping in mind the objective to encourage people maintain healthy habits and positive attitudes for healthy living. Apollo believes "adding life to years is more important than adding years to living". At present Bangalore is home to over 8 million people who are in the age group of 55 years and above, about 50 % of this population i.e. approximately 4 lakhs constitutes our target group which is growing at the rate of 10% per annum.

 

Apollo Healthy citizens card has three types of cards catering to different age group of people, the Gold card is for people above 55yrs, Silver Card for people who are between the age group 18-54 years and the Gen-next Card is 8-17yrs targeting the younger generation who is in the transition phase of childhood to adolescence. The reason for us to have taken 55 years as the base to avail the Apollo healthy citizens gold card is because on a survey done, results revealed that the real health problems for an individual starts at 55. On ignoring health checks it tends to throw up as devastating ailments at times. Hence we encourage everyone to undergo preventive health checks on an annual basis. The membership entitles you to a range of discounts and privileges at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore and also at all Apollo Clinics and Pharmacies across Bangalore.

 

All the above cards can be availed by paying just Rs.500/-. The gold card will be a lifetime card and the other two cards silver and gen next will be valid for a period of 10yrs after which the card has to renewed and updated
