Consultation with Physician is an internal part of Apollo Health Check. To further this cause, the Department of Internal Medicine also plans to start specially clinic like Obesity Clinic, Hypertention Clinic, Vertigo Clinic and Geriatric Clinic. In these Clinics the physician provides a patient hearing of the complaints, does a detailed assessment of the problem and gives recommendations based on the history/examination. If required, an opinion from other department os sought and the plans of management is discussed with the patient in detail.

The Department of Internal Medicine also manages a 14 bedded, spacious modern medical Intensive care unit with all life support/resuscitation equipments, including but not limited to ventilators and continuous renal replacement therapy units.

The Department of Internal Medicine provides 24 hours coverage in the Inpatient and Critical care areas. We have also extended our out patient hours to the evening, to cater to the needs of the working population.
