The Biochemistry department of Apollo Hospital is a third generation laboratory, backed by highly qualified and motivated team of Doctors and Technical staff. It is well equipped with the latest state of art technology, to perform not only the routine biochemical test for patients care but also a wide variety of super specialized investigations, such as Tumor markers, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Screening tests for Fetal anomalies, Cardiac markers including Homocysteine, Electrophoresis, Osmolality, Iron deficiency panel and many more. To name a few sophisticated equipments, we have Olympus AU400, a fully automated random access auto analyzer capable of doing Spectro photometric and Immunoturbidimetric analysis with ISE, Immulite 1000, an auto analyzer with the latest Chemiluminescence’s technology for the high end chemistries and hormones, AVL Compact 3 – arterial Blood gas analyzer, AVL 9180 electrolyte analyzer, Osmometer, Helena Electrophoresis analyzer with Densitometer and UV-VIS Spectrophotometer. All the analytes are being done within a very short period of time requiring minimum sample volume. FDA approves the reagent kits used for various analyses.
